Health Matters is more than a Chiropractic clinic. We assess the body from a structural, chemical and emotional point of view and aim to optimise the health of the individual.

We treat all ages and use non-invasive techniques such as; Applied Kinesiology, Retained Neonatal Reflexes, Acupuncture, Masasge, Speech Pathology, Reiki, NET (Neuro Emotional Technique), SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique), Nutrition, Functional Biochemistry, TBM (total body modification) and of course Manual and Activator adjustments. We also refer out for functional pathology testing, including DNA testing when appropriate.

Our techniques are not just great for aches and pains, but we have a specific focus on treating children with learning difficulties, neurodevelopment delays, anxiety and a wide array of health concerns from stomach problems to allergies. If you are unsure if we can work with you, please ask.

Your wellbeing is our priority and we aim to:

  • Provide a friendly and personal service that is professional and tailored to your specific needs.

  • Ensure that you feel free to discuss concerns about your condition or any aspect of the care that you receive at this clinic.

  • Ensure that we are up to date with the latest techniques and innovations in the care we provide by maintaining membership to the appropriate professional associations and attending seminars both in Australia and abroad.

  • Provide a relaxed and informal atmosphere to help you feel as comfortable as possible.

Martin Peters
Massage Therapist / Reiki Practitioner                  Ph: 0404 863 357

B.Bus., Dip. RM
Member, Association of Massage Therapists

Having worked in a demanding and stressful environment for many years, Martin understands how helpful massage can be.

He’s adopted different massage and healing techniques to develop a style of treatment that’s effective in achieving the results you’re looking for.

Reiki and energy treatments help rebalance your body’s energy systems. When your energy is unblocked and flowing freely, your body can more easily respond to stress.

Massage, on the other hand, helps you by:

  • relieving the pain and dysfunction associated with muscle tension

  • increasing mobility and range of motion, allowing you to move more freely

  • promoting relaxation and a general sense of wellbeing.

Martin’s massage style incorporates active release techniques, where you contract and then relax the muscles being treated. This engages the nervous system and helps tight muscles unwind and adjust to a more-normal resting length.

Martin is available for appointments on Thursdays and Fridays.
