Laser Therapy

What is Class IV Laser Therapy?

Class IV laser therapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment that uses focused light to help your body heal faster. The laser increases circulation, decreases pain, and boosts the cells that repair tissue.

What kinds of injuries does it help?
Class IV laser is often used for:
-
Sprained ankles
-
Muscle strains (hamstring, calf, back, etc.)
-
Sports injuries
-
Tendon or ligament irritation
-
Bruising or swelling after trauma
-
Post-surgical pain and inflammation

Benefits you may notice

Less pain quickly: Many people feel relief after the first 1–3 sessions
Reduced swelling + inflammation: Helps you move sooner and more comfortably
Faster healing: Cells repair themselves faster, so recovery time may shorten
Drug-free + non-invasive: No injections, no medication, no downtime

What does it feel like?
Most patients feel nothing, at most a gentle warmth — not pain. Treatments are quick (often 5–10 minutes) and you can return to normal activities right away.

How many sessions will I need?
Every injury is different, but acute injuries often respond within 2–8 visits, depending on severity and how quickly you begin treatment after injury.
Is it safe?
Yes — when used by a trained provider. We’ll ask a few health questions before treatment, and you’ll wear safety glasses during the session. All sessions are provided by our Chiropractor, Jane, who has undertaken extensive training in laser therapies.
